How do I?
Do you accept vouchers, jump certificates, etc. purchased from booking agencies?No. We only accept gift certificates purchased through our websiteor by calling us directly at 715-684-3416. We also do not accept reservations made through any agency. Order your gift certificates directly through our online reservation system or by calling us at 715-684-3416. Please use caution and verify that you are purchasing a Skydive Twin Cities gift certificate and/or making a reservation with Skydive Twin Cities by only using our website or calling our office number. A good rule of thumb in telling the difference is if the price you are being charged is higher than the current prices listed on our Prices page, you are not speaking directly to Skydive Twin Cities.Do the prices listed include all equipment needed to make my skydive?IYes, the prices listed include everything you will need to make your skydive, even the taxes. Video prices do not include tax, that will be added at time of purchase.What are your hours of operation?We are open April through October. Saturday & Sunday 8:00 A.M. until SunsetMonday, Thursday and Friday 10:00 A.M. until Sunset.What should I wear to make my first skydive?Wear comfortable clothing suitable for the current weather conditions. You will be wearing a jumpsuit over your clothing for the skydive. It is recommended that you wear clothing that will not restrict your movement or will be uncomfortable under snug harness. For example, baggy jeans may bunch up under the jumpsuit and harness. Wear athletic type shoes without hooks. No sandals or other shoes that are not secured to your feet. Should I eat before my skydive?It's a good idea to eat a light meal or snack before you head to the dropzone.Is there an age limit?Yes, you must be a minimum of 18 years old to skydive. Is there a weight limit?Yes. We can take tandem skydivers up to 260 lbs and solo training skydivers up to 240 lbs. Please note: If you are over 260 lbs, your height and weight are not in proportion and/or you can not lift your legs for five to ten seconds, please give us a call prior to booking.Are there any medical condition(s) or precription medication(s) that would prevent me from being able to skydive?Yes, Please consult your doctor if you have any questions regarding any of your health condition(s) or medication(s) that you are taking. If you are currently under the treatment for any of the following medical conditions we require a note from your doctor stating that it is okay for you to skydive: Cardiac or pulmonary condition or disease, high or low blood pressure, fainting spells or convulsions, hearing loss or impairment, nervous disorders, diabetes, kidney or related diseases, shortness of breath, psychiatric disorders, subluxation or joint dislocation. If you are on any regular medication we require a note from your doctor stating that it is okay for you to skydive.Do you have a group discount?Yes, we have a group discount for tandem skydives. Groups of 10 or more, $20 discount per person. All members of the group must check-in together and redeem the group discount, and only the group discount, to be counted as a member of the group. Can I consume alcohol or drugs before my skydive?No. You will not be allowed to skydive under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. How long does the entire process take?Typically one to two hours. There are factors that may extend that time for such as weather delays. Feel free to bring items to entertain yourself, books, magazines, balls, frisbees, etc.We also have WiFi available, skydiving videos, gas grills, a pavilion, picnic area and more.Can my friends and family watch me skydive?Yes. We encourage friends and/or family to join you. We have lawn chairs for spectators to sit in while watching the skydiving along with a picnic area with a pavilion and gas grills. We also have WiFi available, skydiving videos, gas grills and a pavilion.Can I bring my pet with me?No. For the safety of the animal, along with the safely and comfort of all of our customers, we do not allow customers or spectators to bring animals to the dropzone. If the weather is bad, how will I know if I should come to the dropzone or not?IWe will try to call you approximately two hours before your scheduled appointment if we need to reschedule your skydive due to weather. If you have any weather concerns, please call us prior to heading to the dropzone.Should I show up earlier than my scheduled time?No. Your appointment time is the time you should check-in. You are welcome and encouraged to come early and watch other people skydiving.What forms of payment do you accept?For online booking we accept most major credit and debit cards. For onsite payments we accept cash, checks, most major debit and credit cards, and most mobile payments. Do I need to make a reservation to skydive?Tandems: Reservations are not required for Tandems. We strongly recommend making a reservation for a Tandem jump. We welcome walk-ins and will give you the first available slot. Solo Training: Reservations are required for the Solo Training First Jump Course.Do you require a deposit or charge a cancellation fee?Yes to both, Here are our policies.A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is required upon booking TANDEMS. A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is required upon booking SOLO TRAINING. These deposits are non-refundable under any condition.The deposit will be applied toward your final bill, except as outlined in our cancellation policy below.CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 48 HOURS (2 business days) or FAILURE TO SHOW UP on your scheduled date and time will incur a $50 cancellation fee. This will be through a loss of your non-refundable $50 or $100 deposit, a $50 or $100 charge to any existing Gift Certificate balance or a $50 or $100 fee incurred with payment required before completion allowed of customer’s prepaid skydive and/or class. LATE CUSTOMERS may have to reschedule.RESCHEDULING is allowable with 2 DAYS NOTICE or at the request of Skydive Twin Cities. No cancellation fee will be incurred in either of these instances. If Skydive Twin Cities must reschedule or cancel your reservation at any time prior to you making your skydive your non-refundable deposit will remain on your account and will not decrease in value until you make your skydive..Do you offer video of tandem and solo skydives?Yes! We offer video and photos for both tandem and solo skydives, and they are amazing! How do I access my videos and photos after my skydive?Yes! We offer HD video and high quality photos, and they are amazing! Your video and photos will be uploaded to SmugMug so they can be easily viewed, downloaded, and shared via email, Facebook, YouTube, etc. You will be given a card with the link and instructions for finding your photos after your skydive.
